Artist aml-ddisgyblaethol o Fethesda yw Rebecca F Hardy. Mae’r corff newydd hwn o waith celf yn cyflwyno haenau cynnil a datganiadau cryf o liw a ffurf, gan amrywio o luniau a phrintiadau sgrîn, i waith fideo a 3D.
Mae’r ffurfiau haniaethol sy’n ymddangos yn ei gwaith yn deillio o’i hastudiaeth a’i dealltwriaeth bersonol o’i hymenydd dyslecsig. Drwy broses greadigol unigryw, mae hi’n archwilio deunyddiau a’r berthynas rhwng arwyneb, gwrthrych, lliw, haenau a phatrymau, gan chwarae’n gyson gyda’r cydbwysedd rhwng dim digon a gormod, a’r hyn sy’n bleserus yn weledol ac yn llanast llwyr.
// Rebecca F Hardy is a multi-disciplined artist from Bethesda. This new body of work presents subtle implementations of layers and loud statements of colour and form, ranging from images and screenprints to video and 3D works.
The abstract forms that emerge in her work are derived from her own study and understanding of her dyslexic brain. Through a unique creative process, she explores materials and relationships between surface, object, colour, layers and patterns, constantly playing with the balance between too little and too much, between what is visually pleasing and total chaos.
